These are tasks that I've yet to either start on at all or to have a major influence on. Please feel free to take any of these tasks as your own, they all need to be done at some point, the sooner, the better.
There is a list of missing pages, these refer to pages that are linked to by existing articles yet are still to be written themselves.
This list is sorted by the number of links that request it, the highest number first. This list is automatically compiled and is updated on a regular basis, thus there is likely to always be a number of items on the list.
Be careful - there are a lot of non-chemistry pages in the wanted pages list, these articles should not be written, instead their links should be deleted.
Sorting Irrelevant LinksEdit
Mostly arising from my importation of the element pages from Wikipedia, there are a large number of links to irrelevant articles (e.g. countries and various dates). These should be removed whenever possible, in order to streamline the wiki. Whilst I have attempted to remove them as I spot them, I have missed a larger number than I would have liked.
The easiest way to remove these links is to remove them whenever you come across them in reading pages. However, this does not remove them at a great enough rate to be truly effective. The best way to achieve this is through use of the Wanted Pages list again, as stated above, all links with the requested article missing are shown here and a quick browse through the list will show any irrelevant links. The number of links shown next to the link title will, when clicked, give the pages on which the link appears, thus making it relatively easy to find and remove the links in question.
