How to add a reference source
Edit
To add a reference source, add <ref>Name of source and specific passage</ref> after the information that came from the source.
For example, if we were to post Albert Einstein's quote of, "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind,[1]" a source would need to be provided to verify he said that. (All sources are labeled with their source number (in this case, Albert's quote source is labeled with [1]).
How to show all reference sources
Edit
To show all reference sources cited in the article, use <references/> or {{Reflist}} to display all sources. It should look like this (they will appear in a list like order):
- ↑ Stanford University Website. Retrieved 5/31/12.
Notability
Edit
We are not going to be too picky about what sources are cited, as long as it is not from Yahoo Answers or something similar. As long as it is accurate (this includes imports from Wikipedia!), it passes.
Templates
Edit
To say that an article is in need of more citations for verification, put {{Needcite}} on the top of the article.
To say that an article is unreferenced (has no reference sources whatsoever), put {{Unreferences}} on the top of the article.
